My Life’s Mission? Turn “Pooh” into Fertilizer…

My Life's Mission is to help People turn “Pooh” into Fertilizer so that their #@&# Flowers can Dance!
As a result of the ParticipACTION Television Launch during the past few weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to connect and re-connect with so many passionate people. As much as my role is to help ParticipACTION inspire others to take up traditional and non-traditional physical activity and sports, I have been equally inspired by the personal stories that people have been willing to share.
The experience has made me reflect more about my own Life path … from those fading flashes of my childhood in Malaysia; to growing up as the son of immigrant parents and brother-protector of my younger sister; to giving up the fast-track career “MBA” lows & highs, and choosing the road less travelled as an entrepreneur in the performing arts/dance industry; to finding my partner in love, life and dance.
And learning many Life lessons along the way and how being passionate about something can transform oneself physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually.
This morning, I happened to log into my danceScape Facebook account and saw some of the new features that had been released overnight. When I scrolled down to the Basic Information section, I noticed that I hadn’t filled in my “Favourite Quotations”.
This made me think about how I could articulate my “Life’s Mission”.
And then it hit me. My Life’s philosophy has always been about overcoming challenges and handicaps, not only for myself but also for students and others with whom I have connected over the years.
So what is my continuing Life’s Mission?
It is To help People turn “Pooh” into Fertilizer so that their #@&# Flowers can Dance!
